ASG GROWS!
65 students from 15 countries joined ASG as the
second cohort of the Master of Public
Administration, the school's flagship two-year
degree. They arrived in the same week that the
Pioneer cohort returned for its second year,
which meant the welcome was not run by staff at
all. It was run by students who had sat in those
same seats twelve months earlier and could
remember how the first week feels.
The Pioneers returned after completing a Work
Integrated Learning (WIL) placement before the
mid-year break, spending time inside real
institutions rather than reading about them from
a distance. They returned carrying the specific,
unglamorous knowledge of how institutions
make governance decisions.
